BREAKING NEWS: EFCC arrests Aisha Achimugu at Abuja Airport

The EFCC has apprehended Aisha Sulaiman Achimugu, a well-known business leader and socialite.

In a statement released on Tuesday, her legal team stated that Achimugu had voluntarily returned to the country from London and was subsequently arrested at 5 a.m. that same day.

According to her attorney’s statements in the Federal High Court in Abuja, she had previously mentioned in her legal documents that she would be meeting with the EFCC today as part of their investigation into a potential case involving criminal collaboration and financial impropriety.

According to FIRSTTVONLINE, the Federal High Court in Abuja has directed Achimugu to appear before the EFCC on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. This is in relation to allegations being investigated currently.

The court has ordered her presence for the ongoing proceedings on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025.
